If you know me, you know that I'm a complete scatter brain and have a very hard time keeping focused and on topic.
Well, going forward I'm going to try and focus on documenting my knitting and spinning adventures as well as talking about anything arts and crafts related. I'll probably end up talking about things like plants and records every so often too, cuz that's just the way I roll.
Anyway...
Yesterday I was zooming around Etsy looking for some new hand spun yarn and I stumbled upon this looker.

Turns out the creater of this multi-colored goodness is Elizabeth Stottlemyer a.k.a Hobbledehoy and she only lives a hop, skip, and a jump away from me! Please check out her shop if you get a chance.
So, my co-worker had been telling me about this quilt that his aunt made awhile back. Turns out it took her seven years to make, and each panel is hand stitched to represent one of the 50 United States. I kept asking him if he would bring it in for me to see sometime.
Check this thing out!
I noticed that there was some discoloration and staining in a few spots. Does anyone know of a safe and effective way to fix this?
